Mark Made Inc: Chanel Clothing Display
Mark Made Inc, based out of Wilmington, North Carolina is a small company that specializes in contracted display and fabrication work. Mark Made was recently hired by Nieman Marcus to create a Chanel showcase display at their location inside the Southpark Mall at Charlotte, North Carolina. Mark Made Inc works out of a small space in Wilmington, but one look at this display and other previous works shows this company has an eye for style and an understanding of what works best for each individual project.
On October 6, 2009, Coco Chanel Fashion released the "Country Coquette" line at their fall fashion show in Paris. This line was designed around old country inspirations and simple, rustic schemes. So, naturally in a display showcasing this new fashion line Mark Made Inc wanted a similar "country" feel. He came to JMX knowing that we carry many different antique and weathering options on the majority of our hand made Amish inventory. Mark Made decided on a small replica wheelbarrow, which JMX made sure was delivered in plenty of time for the display to be put up in case their were any issues with the product, which in fact there was. The wheelbarrow that had been chosen was too small when put up against the mannequins in the window display. When JMX was informed of this problem we worked quickly to get the old wheelbarrows returned and Mark Made Inc. reimbursed, while at the same time contacting our Amish Woodworking Shop and having a larger version sent out. All of this effort was well worth it as the display turned out beautifully and JMX was able to help a customer with their own superior work.
