Hilton Theatre
Hilton Theatre, located at Times Square in New York City, is a unique historical reproduction. The theatre reopened in 1997 as the Ford Center for Performing Arts after an extensive reconstruction and renovation process that combined elements from the famous Lyric and Apollo Theatres. The Lyric theatre facades, a staple on 42nd and 43rd streets were restored to their original grandeur, while the Apollo's ceiling domes, proscenium arch, sail vault, and side boxes were all refurbished and reinstalled into the new theater. The Apollo's original theatre was also saved and is now used as a lounge for intermissions and private parties. Now the Hilton is in the middle of the 42nd St theatre scene that rivals Broadway for its history.
The Hilton Theatre has produced eight plays since it reopened in 1997 all of which demand master craftsmanship and superior materials for their set designs. JMX was asked by the theatre for a table leg that would fit a coffee table but also had an unfinished and more classical design. Through our Amish woodworkers we were able to find a Queen Anne Style leg expertly hand crafted from Eco-friendly materials and as with all of our products, these legs were proudly made in America. JMX was able to quickly pursue this transaction and had the legs there in plenty of time to be prepared for Opening Night!
